Liked: Location is excellent and 5 minutes from Main Street and harbour. The pool area is great with great views
Disliked: Maid service was requested daily but was vey adhoc but I guess we could have requested again so no big issue

Very disappointed!

Liked: The staff was amazing. It was also a beautiful setting and very clean. However the room we had was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY WE PD!! We had NO CLOSET AT ALL! And no stands to put our luggage on !In the bathroom there was NO COUNTER!! We had to put all our toiletries on the floor!!When we mentioned our disappointment when checked out we were told.. well you booked with booking.com. You should have booked through the hotel directly!Apparently using booking.com they give you crappy rooms!!We also had a small table with ONE CHAIR FOR 2 PEOPLEVery disappointing for the money!!
Disliked: Give us a room with a closet, a bathroom countertop and 2 chairs for 2 people!!

Inviting, clean, lovely property

Liked: Always a friendly and clean property. It’s a great location.
Disliked: Beds are a bit too soft for us, but for one night, my hips and back dealt with it.

Find accommodation, but way overpriced.

Liked: It was nice to have a small terrace. The staff was generally quite helpful. The fire pit was nice. It was very nice to have use of the bicycles.
Disliked: This property is way overpriced. I paid about twice what I would’ve paid for most of the other accommodations in Hyannis. The Anchor Inn is fine. It is not luxury, which is what would be expected for the price that’s charged (about $500 including fees a night)There’s nothing wrong with it and the view of the harbor is nice and if you want to pay for that, then this is the location you should be at. It’s a good 15 minute walk to the shops in Hyannis. The breakfast is muffins, bagels, croissants, yogurt, and some oatmeal you can make with hot water, apples and oranges. Every day is the same offering. Breakfast closes promptly at 10 o’clock and if you want any from the minifridge Even a few minutes after that, there’s a good chance they won’t give it to you.The room we were in the first evening did not even have space for my toiletry kit in the bathroom.The accommodations are very clean and the people who work there are generally very helpful. Having access to the bikes is great. For the kind of money they are charging it should be more upscale and more of a luxury accommodation and it just simply isn’t.
