Disliked: The bar toilet is on the stairs to the apartments. You should close the door there

Liked: Food and pub excellent. Apartment was fantastic only slight grip was two single beds very very hard other than that brilliant. Johnshaven is quiet but cafe, lobster shop, village shop and pub was lovely

Liked: Booked in for business so location suited. Comfortable bed and tea coffee biscuits, sadly couldn’t make dinner but resteraunt was full on my return so that says it allBreakfast smoked haddock and poached egg perfection

Cozy place, great food!

Liked: The hotel is in a very characteristic building, right at the harbour. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The dinner and the breakfast in the restaurant were very tasty, and we appreciated a lot the vegetarian options. A great place!
Disliked: The room was very small, but it had everything we needed for a short stay.

Liked: staff was really nice but a little overwhelmed once it got busy in the restaurant waited quite a few minutes to be able to check in, ordered drink at dinner was forgottenbut food was great could see the harbour and sea from my room
Disliked: had accidentally pulled of the sheets when lifting the duvet and that matress wasn't pleasant to see.... room quite outdated very small bathroom
