Liked: The Anchor Inn is a really special place. I have stayed at hotels all over the UK and Europe and have never had a more enjoyable experience. The staff, other guests and local people were all friendly and welcoming. It has an atmosphere as soon as you walk through the door that this place is magical. The food was superb and given that I stayed on a Wednesday night it was very busy with people dining which gives an indication of how the reputation is merited. I strongly advise and recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed.
