Hotel Description
With views across the Bristol Channel to South Wales Anchor Head Hotel is located in the seaside town of Weston-super-Mare and just a 10-minute walk from the main beach. A small beach and promenade walk can be found directly in front of the hotel. An private bathroom TV and tea/coffee making facilities are provided in each room at Anchor Head as well as a hairdryer. Guests can relax in the on-site bar and restaurant which boast scenic sea views. Entertainment is provided on most evenings and the bar also has a dance floor. The town center is just a 15-minute walk from the hotel and features a shopping center antiques stores and book shops. It also features the Winter Gardens which hosts dancing including cabaret and The Playhouse Weston's main theater.

Dismal

Liked: The location was good. THe individually cooked breakfast was good.
Disliked: The hotel is very tired, decor-wise. The common areas had old-fashioned carpets and wall coverings. The extractor in the bathroom didn't work. The weather was very very hot and the bedroom like an oven. It was hard to sleep. No air con, and no fan provided. The TV had no Netflix.

The hotel was terrible

Liked: Good view Hygiene of cleanliness was good
Disliked: Wasn't worth the money at all, the room was small you could Barely walk around, really hot in the room. Was no toilet roll in bathroom. Wouldn't stay again

Very pleasant

Liked: Location was fantastic. Parking was free, shop close to hotel! Loads of food options, restaurants. Beautiful sea view from hotel window.
Disliked: Please don’t stay in room 109. The disco music didn’t stop till 11. Whole building was shaking, my partner went to sleep in the car.

Value for money and wonderful...

Liked: We really enjoyed the sea views, the friendliness of the staff and the really helpful gentleman from the bar who let me into my room after I'd locked my key inside.
Disliked: There could have been parking reserved at the front of the hotel.
