Deceitful management ⁹
Liked: Absolutely nothing at all.Totally disappointed and misled about the facility..paid $350 for one night of total disappointment.
Disliked: Are you kidding me.Not enough space in this txt box to list the items.What I disliked the most was the fact that I was not informed about the state of the facility...not my issue if there was a change of ownership

Ok for a night or...
Liked: Good surroundings, our room was big
Disliked: They called before our visit to advice that the restaurant was closed and that we would receive a refund for our breakfast portion of the stay (which was included). After requesting and reminding the facility several times we have not received the refund.

Disgraceful. Dirty bathroom and toilet...

Disliked: Part of the price paid, $240, was suppose to include breakfast. The restaurant was under renovation, so a promise of a refund for the breakfast not being provided was not paid. The bathroom had not been cleaned, the floor was dirty, the toilet had obviously been used and not cleaned and the bin had not been emptied

we had the place almost...
Liked: Beautiful grounds with plenty to explore. The hot tub and gym and games room were great.The complimentary minibar was a welcome bonus.
Disliked: Renovations are underway, so the restaurant is closed and no kitchenette in the room but the town is only 6mins drive with a good pub menu..

Pathetic experience
Liked: Location
Disliked: Most pathetic holiday experience, these guys in fact ruined our holiday. 1. No front desk, we reached about 9 PM and we couldn't find anyone at the front desk - this is as opposed to what they mentioned in their "Facilities" section on booking.com2. No wifi - this is again as opposed to what's there in the facilities section. As this location has no phone reception, not having wifi as well is a big security risk .. how will you communicate?3. No food - again not aligned with the facilities section. 4. Unhygienic - There was no water bottle in the room, and the glasses they provided had weird white stains - how are we supposed to drink water?5. Nobody picks up the call - I was trying to reach them over the phone before the start of travel for few days - nobody picked up the call or respond later. A few hrs before the start of the check-in they called me and provided 1 room's PIN details, and for another room, I had to follow up with them again.I demand a refund for this pathetic experience. We also vacated the next day morning after we checked in on 30th Sept.

Dont take bookings when you...
Liked: The property had been sold and was under renovations. But Bookings.com did not advise me of this. When i checked in at reception, they were not expecting any guests at all. The whole place was closed down and taped up for repainting and renovations. We could not use any facilities at all. Didnt get any breakfast. The whole place was abandoned.
Disliked: Bookings.com should have advised guests that the place was closed down for renovations and not accepted our booking. We had nowhere to stay that nights so they allowed us to stay the one night amongst all the construction work. But didnt get any discount for the having no facilities, or no breakfast which was included in our price. I already sent a lengthy email to Bookings.com to complain, but to this day, there has been no response. It was a disaster
