Pleasant

Liked: safe, good location, friendly staff
Disliked: no working air conditioner, fans worked but barely helped. Mattress was 2 single beds put together, which moved when we slept. stairs were so thin and small, made it hard to move luggage with no lift.

A great place to stay,...

Liked: Right beside a quiet canal, nice to sit out on the terrace after a long day, happy hour(s) 4 - 6, free beers, wine and snacks. Nice staff, very relaxed atmosphere
Disliked: Stairs are very steep

Good location but wouldn’t stay...

Liked: Location was good and had character
Disliked: The stairs weren’t great as we had to carry our suitcases up 3 flights of steep winding stairs. Air conditioning did not work! We had a portable unit in the corner which was broken, the aircon on the wall wasn’t cold, the fan had no switch on it to even turn it on. We could only open one window out of the three in the room which made it extremely hot and uncomfortable, especially at night. We struggled to sleep.

Overall okay. Nice breakfast

Liked: It was pretty quiet, and the hotel was not too large so it was never too crowded at the breakfast buffet. I also liked the breakfast itself. They didn’t have too many choices where you don’t know what to get, it was just the right variety.
Disliked: It’s quite a walk from the main station, and easy to miss. The stairs are also very narrow and dark, which could be problematic for visually impaired guests.
