Absolutely worth the money.

Superb location of a really...

Liked: The location was simply amazing, with a lot of great interesting locations and spotlights at walking distance. Breakfast was another highlight. The room was silent and comfortable.
Disliked: Not much. Maybe mention that the water at the swimming pool was a bit too cold.

Didn't meet expectations

Liked: Great location, good sized room for a family of four and the beds were comfortable. Parking being inluded was a bonus too.
Disliked: We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately the experience didn’t quite meet expectations.Our room was set up for four people, but only two pillows were provided per bed. We requested more from reception and were told they would be delivered, but they never arrived. A similar issue occurred at the pool, there were no clean towels available, the area was untidy, and neither the gym nor reception were able to assist. After waiting over 45 minutes, I ended up returning to our room to get our own towels.Service throughout the stay was disappointing, with staff generally appearing disinterested or unapproachable.Breakfast was also underwhelming. There were no plates available when we arrived and, although staff eventually brought some out, there was no communication or apology and a queue of people waiting. We had a similar experience waiting 15 minutes for clean coffee cups. The food itself was below average, the scrambled eggs in particular were unappetising, with a powdery texture and greyish colour.It’s a shame, as the hotel has potential, but the lack of hospitality and attention to detail made for a frustrating stay. With some focus on staff engagement and guest service, this could be a much better experience in the future.

A great 5 star hotel...

Liked: Very spacious room with plenty of light through three large windows with (obstructed) views of the city, park and glimpses of Sydney harbour. The indoor heated pool with spa, steam room and sauna was perfect for kids and parents to relax. The staff are very friendly and helpful as always. I like to stay here as the price point is great at half the price as the Shang and four seasons for same location, just not the view.
Disliked: Would like some bath gel for the bathtub, as we had to pump body wash from the shower into hands since they were attached to wall, but it wasn't a big issue.
