Amistad hotel

Great location, safe and friendly...

Liked: Location, coffee shop across the road and iconic gay pub just down the street. Close to everything you need. Friendly staff. Felt safe.
Disliked: No AC and was there during heat wave on 2nd floor and it was a bit uncomfortable- I knew in advance there was no AC and would’ve been fine if not for heat. Couldn’t open window because of noise. Need earplugs.

Probably will not prefer again

Liked: The location is good. Breakfast is fair enough.
Disliked: There are a lot of mosquitoes. There is no net in windows. Airflow is problematic and they try to cool the hotel with bigger ventilators creating a lot of voice. There is no sound isolation between the rooms and outside the building. I couldn't sleep the whole night because of extreme noises coming from outside and other rooms in addition to mosquitoes.
