Museum Fantastic, Hotel Substandard

Liked: The location of the hotel within Motorworld is great! Brilliant experience to park your car in your room (Car Studio) and to walk out of your door into the museum at any time, it also is well connected to the motorway and the facilities are all pretty new and was well appointed. Food offered in Motorworld was really quite good.
Disliked: Sadly, the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard, When I checked in, there was a bottle still in the bin and the floors were not hoovered. There is a tablet in the room for guest information and this was not clean either. I asked for additional cleaning on the second day and despite towels being changed, there was still limescale around the shower heads, floors dirty etc. In addition to this, the air conditioning did not work and a portable AC unit was used. This was large, noisy and blasted hot air into the garage area of the room which meant that the car and seating area was too hot. Also, the amenities (chocolates) that were left for my arrival were melted due to this AC.There was no food offered at night which is normally a simple request in a hotel. We had to order on UberEats as we arrived late.The hotel felt like more of an afterthought and run by the museum rather than being a great hotel run by an experienced hotelier.
