Americourt Hotel and Suites - Elizabethton

Was not the best experience.

Liked: Our front desk lady happily gave us blankets because none in the room & room so COLD.
Disliked: No breakfast,ice machine not working, heating & cooling system did not function properly

What we needed at the...

Liked: The staff was extraordinary.
Disliked: The place was recovering from a flood so they were not finished completly. However the smoking oder in the hallways was pungent.

Disliked: was only there to sleep.

Disliked: When you walk in the we side door it smells awful like dog pee and wet dog

Liked: Location good & the room was clean (not the facility).; Lady at front desk polite and trying to be helpful but her computer was broken making check in a bit long.
Disliked: Facility very dirty & run down. Also, under reconstruction. Room was clean but walls so thin I could hear conversations & people snoring in other rooms. Hallways filthy with stains, dirt, and construction debris...not cleaned. Rear entry does did not close properly & ground level windows left propped open for construction (security risks). Grounds covered with cigarette butts & trash. Property appeared to be primarily occupied by displaced or indigent individuals. Broken cars in parking lot being worked on, etc. Haven't stayed in places that run down since college days or traveling to third world countries. Way overpriced at $94.

On the tired side, but...

Liked: Very close to a work area I was visiting. Great recommendation for dinner in Elizabethton. Good price.
Disliked: While every room I passed was marked as 'No Smoking', the 2nd floor hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. My room had three missing light bulbs (two in bathroom, one in bedroom) and the toilet refilled every ten minutes or so. The control for the bedroom TV was a different brand than the TV, so didn't work.
