Liked: Very clean. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Beet little gift shop in the hotel lobby

Liked: Staff was exceptional: the receptionist, the housekeeper and the breakfast lady. The breakfast had a great variety, excellent food, nice ambience. I liked upon arrival there was coffee available in the lobby, and a bear figure holding a tray of cookies.
Disliked: The pillows were small, but they were comfortable. There were no tissues in the room.

Good
Liked: The location was wonderful for seeing bald eagles. We saw about 100 eagles off of Higway 61 just before getting to Wabasha.
Disliked: We made our booking the day before we travelled but when we arrived they had no reservation for us because Booking.com failed to pass our booking on to the hotel. That was a bit frustrating. To make up for this (though it wasn't the hotel's fault) they told us they were giving us an upgrade to a King suite with a fireplace. We had already booked a King room but thought the fireplace was a nice touch- only- there was NO fireplace. We think the previous occupants of the room must have stolen the fireplace. We thought about reporting it to the front desk but didn't want to cause any problems.

Grumpy Old Men Days...We had a blast!!!
Liked: Loved that the breakfast was bagged to keep people safe from Covid
Disliked: The only part I didn't care for was the comfort of the bed.

Lovely stay.
Liked: Very pleasant 2 day stay. The room was roomy with fairly large bed area and easily accessible BR, for a scooter to get around. We were able to get the car close to the closest outside door, so that was handy.
Disliked: They need to fill the pop/water pay machines better. It was completely empty. We told the desk person but that didn't help. It was evening, so maybe "wasn't in her job description!!!" Otherwise she was very pleasant.

Disliked: Loved staying here. The room was bigger than expected and the staff was very nice.
