Disliked: Toilet seat very loose in room 109. Needs to be fixed.Coffee pot had not been cleaned/ sanitized. It had dry crusty ramen noodles in it, so cleaning crew did not check it.Bed sheets had stains, hoping they were washed, too tired to care at the time.

Disappointing for the price.

Liked: Looks like the hotel rooms had some cosmetic updates within the last 10 years (newer carpet/flooring and color scheme).
Disliked: Hallways are very dark/dim. Dirty, dated appliances (microwave + mini fridge). Very dirty phone and clock. Thick dust ontop of appliances and toilet paper holder. Stale, closed up smell to the whole place. Continetal breakfast was disappointing. Not sure that the old chain does much as a secondary lock on the door.

Liked: This was a disappointing venue. First impressions are important. When I walked into the lobby, the person on duty was slouched between two chairs. The carpet in front of the reception area was filthy. When I had some questions about the attractions in Viroqua, including the extremely well-known and highly-rated Driftless Cafe, I was misinformed about its hours, and the person at the desk was not very helpful with other information. There was essentially no lip on the shower, so water spilled over into the bathroom area, which is bad under any circumstances but particularly so in a handicap accessible room. The last thing a person with mobility issues needs is a slippery floor. When I went into the breakfast room the next morning, there was not a single table that was clean, and the counter where the food was displayed had scrambled eggs lying all over the buffet. There was no hotel employee working in that room to oversee things. I was very surprised that Wyndham would offer such a low level of accommodation. It so happened that this was the middle day of a three-day journey into southwestern Wisconsin. This was the most expensive place that I stayed and the least attractive. I gave the other two hotels top marks in all categories. It was surprising to have such a different experience in the same general area. I would not recommend this venue.

Disliked: Expensive for the quality. Cheap construction. I think a herd of elephants roamed above us.
