Liked: 1. We appreciated the room upgrade for our 30th Anniversary. So kind and unexpected.2. Realizing this is an older property, you can tell there have been steady upgrades, which is great. To that category, I would suggest a higher toilet, for us Senior visitors.3. Staff was helpful and personable4. Breakfast was thin. 5. I'd put money on toilet upgrades and breakfast.

Worst experience ever, wish I...

Liked: The location was great for what we came to town for. I booked two rooms here and I appreciate that they were located right across the hall from each other. The pool area was fun for the kids but it was really pretty gross with the soggy food that we had to dodge all over the floor in the pool room.
Disliked: One of the two rooms we booked here had not been cleaned at all before we arrived. It looked like someone had just rolled out of bed and took a shower leaving dirty bedding, garbage, wet towels and body hair all over and I really think it was actually a member of the hotel staff that had used our room because they left keys for a storage room or something on the dresser and some weird guy came to our door at 6 am the first morning looking for someone and then later in the day we saw that same man taking out garbage for the hotel. I seriously regret now that I did not take pictures, but we went down to the desk to complain immediately after we first entered that room and they apologized and assured us that they would give us a discount for the condition that it was in. They gave us clean towels and bedding for us to put on ourselves and told us that room keeping would come to clean the following day, to which we told them not to bother since we really needed to take care of the cleaning before that so that we could even use the bed and shower that first night. Honestly, I was originally satisfied with them assuring us that our room would be discontinued for the condition and inconvenience but then when we checked out the same guy that told us that it would be discounted said that he had talked to the manager and that they would NOT actually be discounting that room any.The second room we had booked for this trip was a king suite with Jacuzzi tub. We started filling the Jacuzzi the first night and never even got in before the staff called to inquire if we had overfilled it (which we had not) because it was leaking down the wall below our room. We never even ended up getting in the Jacuzzi because we didn't understand why it would be leaking and it just didn't feel safe to use it after that. This room also had a crusty used washcloth in the shower that we didn't discover until much later that first night.
