Smelly room, wrong room

Liked: Location was great, the property was ok, they "claimed" that our reservation was screwed up by booking.com, but as they were fully booked i believe they gave our room to someone else who would pay more. The room smelled like a boys locker room. The water park was a joke but we had not come for that. We will stay somewhere else next time.
Disliked: Getting the room i booked would have been nice. Also our room smelled like a locker room. Breakfast was horrible. At least the staff were great. By the way the food at breakfast was bad not the service, poor girl had to work with what she was given.

Liked: HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Toddler pool & slide. Alittle older children's pool with water dumping buckets & water shooters. Adult pool & a hot tub. Sauna. Towels, chairs & tables.Gift shop, & game rm. Beach! Tubes free for use in lake. Outdoor games. Sunblock & sunscreen provided. EVERYTHING brkfst! with lake view. GREAT STAFF!OH! Beds are comfortable. Rms nice & dark, quiet.
Disliked: Rocky beach but that's not your doing.

Very good

Liked: Being on the lake with a great patio.
Disliked: Bathroom.

Customer service was nice, but...

Liked: It was somewhat close to where we had to go
Disliked: There was bugs in my room. There was a centipede in the tub and jumping little gnats on the floor. The back of the hotel had placed to sit, but was never cleaned up.

Liked: Hotel just needed to be cleaner. Property has tons of potential if were maintained.
Disliked: Cleanliness

Decent

Liked: No conditioner in the shower. Grout in shower needs repair. Dirty floors. Ice machines were spaced out too far. No tea bags at front desk or in lobby.

Liked: Great property, clean, very polite associates.
