Just stayed overnight

Little disappointed

Liked: Comfortable beds.
Disliked: The location is right in front of the train tracks. I didn't feel safe in the area

Liked: The guy at the front desk was polite and accommodating.
Disliked: Location was not good, hotel was dated like from the '80s. Room had funny smell furniture was all marked up.

We were told there were...

Liked: Location- easy off the main highway.
Disliked: The property does not have an elevator. A train track is directly behind the property, I say at least 10 trains went by in our 7pm-8am stay. The walls are thin. I heard snoring and tv noise while in the hallway. Our neighbor knocked on the wall - I guess because the 2 of us were laughing too loud before bedtime. The lock on the window looked like it would be easy to break in.

Disappointing

Disliked: The price for a 2-star location is more than it should be!

Liked: It was clean.
Disliked: Didn't like getting a call in the morning because the window was open, and they said they smelled cig smoke. We stayed on the second floor, and we don't smoke at all. We had been traveling and was asleep and was awaken to that call. The window was open because we were hot.

Very rude owner

Liked: Very rude. One of our group members vehicle broke down and we had to cut out vacation short. The owner was very rude and visibly upset with us that we needed to leave a day early, going so far as to glare,refuse to speak, only communicating in grunts and huffs, and generally behaving like an adolescent not getting their way. Despite giving more than 24hrs notice of our need to cancel he decided to be rude about it, as if we were intentionally trying to take advantage of the situation. No one in our group was excited about leaving. No one was happy about our group members vehicle breaking down 12 hrs from home. The circumstances that arose made the end of our vacation very stressful and the owner only added to that by treating us like he did.
