Liked: I've been using this place for many years. They are consistently good. I always enjoy staying there.

We didn't even stay half...

Liked: We liked absolutely nothing about this property. It was nasty, water smelled like sulfur, no air in the hallways. Everything was horrible. The staff was very rude.
Disliked: The whole place needed either completely renovated or torn down completely. Towels and hallway were missing no air in the hallway. The sliding door for the balcony looked like it had not been cleaned in years. The pool was green. There is nothing that I can say positive about this property Water smell like sulfur. You could not even brush your teeth or take a shower.

Didn't feel Safe at American...

Liked: Staff was friendly. Roaches in my room large & small. Tub drainage slow. Toilet chain slide off after flash handle. Odor in hallway. No AC in hallway. Exit door at end of hall hallway unlock. Homeless people's going in & out. People hanging out in parking lot. Didn't feel safe there. Bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Same as aboveNo elevator not handicapped accessible.

Disliked: The front desk lady was very rude told me I couldn’t get more Towels because my friends from Tampa had come out and we went to the beach and they wanted to quickly rinse off before dinner she said I can’t have anyone else in my room

Disliked: Ñ Hello, I checked into this "hotel" yesterday. To start, the photos they publish are very different from what they offer. Upon entering the room, the first thing I noticed was the bathroom was dirty and stained, the air conditioning was off, and a terrible smell emanated from the hallway to the room itself. We didn't take our luggage downstairs; we felt like the putrid smell would permeate our clothes. We decided to look for another place to stay, checked out, and left. If you don't mind the smell and the dirt, this would be the place. TERRIBLE.
