It was an all-around great...

Liked: The location was quite walkable to a number of stores, restaurants, and even a movie theater practically across the street. It was right near the heart of New Paltz, and a short drive from charming towns such as Rosendale (which has an incredible trestle, an historic mine, and some great food choices). The breakfast was adequate and had a great coffee machine. The ground-floor room was easily accessible and squeaky clean. Those who checked us in and out were particularly kind, welcoming and informative.
Disliked: We pretty much liked everything!

Horrible smell, good otherwise

Liked: The price, parking and very basic breakfast
Disliked: the floor between the two beds were smelling like someone had puked and alcohol. It wasn't visible so it was probably washed, but the smell remained and the person sleeping next to it didn't have a great night. The room also smelled humidity in general

Liked: The staff was excellent, the room was clean. I will be back to stay. Very nice place.
Disliked: Nothing really, there was more offered at breakfast, but we really enjoyed our stay.

Liked: Very clean and close to town.
Disliked: The bed was very very firm. Too firm for someone with chronic back issues. Even my spouse, who is military, and has slept on the floor found the bed rather hard.
