Americas Best Value Inn - Lansing

Liked: Location and no bed bugs.
Disliked: Marginally clean. Ice machine broken. Person at the desk acted like she didnt want to be bothered.

Liked: Fast reliable Wifi HD TV and cable with premium channels
Disliked: Listing says there is an outdoor pool. The pool has been filled with dirt and closed for years. This error put a bit of a damper in my 4th of July

Liked: Hotel Staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Hotel is very run down. Worst I've ever stayed in. Mold everywhere, holes in wall and smelled like someone smoked a pack of cigarettes before we checked in. Would NEVER recommend to anyone.

Disliked: it advertises cont. breakfast only had coffee and a few dried very tiny donuts.

Liked: Location
Disliked: The worst hotel experience of my life the room was filthy the sheets were dirty the bathroom door did not lock the tub I wouldn't put a dog in the parking lot was filthy I was scared for my life.

Liked: The Jacuzzi
Disliked: The TV quality was not the best. One area around the Jacuzzi was messing the tiles.

Liked: The rooms were cleaned and neat

Liked: Easy to find. Clean room and bathroom.
Disliked: Key card had to be reset at lobby. Clientele in surrounding rooms were very nosy (not noisy) and it was in a crappy neighborhood. We barrackaded the door overnight...

Liked: I liked leaving this hotel best!
Disliked: People outside drinking and yelling all night. Staff wouldn't make them be quiet. Finally at 5am I left and went to sleep in my car for 2 hours in parking lot across the street.
