Americas Best Value Inn Houston at FM 1960 & I-45

The hotel company should be very ashamed of the people who run, manage or own their company name. What humiliation my husband and I had to deal with, especially since we were there to celebrate my birthday.

Disliked: We booked this room in June - the confirmation stated check in time after 12:00. We arrived at 12:25 after driving for 3 1/2 hours to find the rudest person at the front desk I have ever seen. He called me a liar, that the check in time was not until 3 and that the customers were still in the rooms, that the check out time was noon and did I want him to throw out the customers. We left and contacted the booking agent so that we weren't charged. We found a room at La Quinta which was mazing.

Liked: There is nothing to like about this property.
Disliked: Front desk is rude and unwelcoming, the hotel is hot. The walls were coming apart, no lamps in the rooms, leaking sink and ac unit. Bed sheets and towels stains and smoke burns on them. Roaches crawling on the walls, bad smell, no breakfast as listed, broken ice machine, soda machine, and vending machine. No laundry as listed and the pool is closed permanently. This property needs to be shut down due to poor management and maintenance.

Liked: Nothing at all!!!! Nothing worked there.. the vending machine, the pool, the air in the hallways, the furniture looked old out dated and nasty!!! And don’t get me started on the rooms !! Dis damn gusting!!!! My husband and I were already looking tore up in the face and we went to the rooms and they were worst we didn’t even stay.. we turned around and left!!! I wouldn’t put my worst enemy there. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Disliked: I didn't like the fact that the stuff that was showed online that will be in the room was not in the room I feel like it's false advertised
