Americas Best Value Inn Denver

It was a decent stay. The renovations did make it hard to walk around a little with debris all over the walkways and it could use a little more TLC but it wasn't bad. The staff was very nice as well.

Liked: It was a nice stay. Had plenty of space.
Disliked: No hot water and lots of issues from renovations.

Sketchy but nice staff

Liked: The size of the room was great, and the bed itself wasn't too bad. The staff was great and very nice. They worked with me as I ended up in the hospital my second night and had to have my aunt go check me out. They were accommodating with that.
Disliked: Where to even start? The location is horrible and very sketchy. The room itself was awful. Didn't seem like it was cleaned very well. I found lube on the side of the tub, I had to clean the tub before I could even use it. Very run down and dirty. The pictures are no indication of the condition it is in. Also there was no breakfast just juice and coffee. Very disappointed in my stay here.

Liked: The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The water pressure was good.
Disliked: Most of the lights didn't work. The lampshade was missing on the only lamp that worked. There were a lot of cosmetic issues. Holes in the wall, some patched poorly but not painted, some not even patched. It didn't affect the way I slept, so whatever. The website mentioned breakfast, but the desk person didn't and when I checked out early the next morning, there was no evidence of breakfast or even coffee. Probably just as well. I feel like the price quoted online was also less than I ended up paying. $82/night seemed a little steep, but it was a relatively safe place to close my eyes and get a shower.
