Liked: Close to Birch Run Outlet Mall and Frankenmuth. Rooms are spartan and clean -- perfect for our needs. Staff was very helpful. We brought our beagle and they were very accommodating. Continental breakfast was available. If you're not looking for a lot of amenities and want a good deal, this place fits the bill!

Disliked: Parking lot and facilités starting to look older, will need an update soon or a large price cut

One Night in Birch Run...

Liked: This hotel is situated in a great spot to visit both Birch Run and Frankenmuth. It is close to food, shopping, and attractions. The room was clean and functional. There was a tv with a large selection of channels, a refrigerator to keep your drinks cold, and a microwave to heat things up. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was cereal, fruit, coffee, juice, milk, muffins, and the ability to make waffles and/or toast. Although all the staff we encountered was friendly and professional, the breakfast staff member was exceedingly courteous! Although I didn't get a chance to check it out, there is a hot tub and a sauna, as well.
Disliked: It is an older hotel and so it looks a bit dated. So this place is good if you are just looking to lay your head.

Liked: Staff was very friendly.
Disliked: Room had tub/shower peeling still was functioning though. Refrigerator froze all our food so food had to be thrown away. carpet area felt damp constantly. We found someone's sock that was on floor under the foot of our bed. Then following morning we found the other sock under the fitted bed sheet. Desk was very sticky. Just over all didn't feel very clean.

Disliked: The showers were awful and so was the breakfast. I was a staff member making the waffle mix with no gloves and she put out a stale box of breakfast bars - with the discounted tag on it. I immediately threw my breakfast away and checked out.
