It checks all the boxes...

Liked: Location is perfect. It's also right next to the Kite Store... and you can see the kites from afar so always have your bearings. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were updated and clean--clean shower/tub/bathroom/microwave/fridge, surrounding motel features were not the cleanest, but for what it is, it's great...Beds were comfortable. If you're at the beach to be on the beach and boardwalk primarily, then this is perfect. You can hear some street traffic, such as garbage trucks, but didn't really bother me much.
Disliked: For what it is, it's great. Rooms are tight, but that goes with the location. Stairwells aren't the cleanest, but it's not a dealbreaker. Parking was tight especially if you have a larger vehicle,but again, it goes with the territory and location.

Loved the stay and would...

Liked: Right on the boardwalk, room was clean, had a fridge, microwave and sink. We had a balcony with side view to ocean and walk. Parking underneath building. Front desk was very friendly.

Disliked: Clean property 3/10Parking (free) 3/10Beds (very firm) 7/10Shower curtain (does not bow out--makes the shower seem small) 5/10The parking is really tight. Yes, I saw some full size SUVs in the parking lot (Tahoe, Sequoia), but a smaller vehicle is recommended.The property was somewhat dirty. We were there for three nights and trash we saw at the beginning of the trip was still there at the end of the trip (pictured: can on stairs).
