Overall pretty good stay.

Liked: The staff was friendly, room was clean, comfortable beds. Pool and hot tub were clean and a comfortable temperature. Easy to get to. Close to Houghton Lake, restaurants, and the price was
Disliked: The breakfast was just okay. All manly carbs. No scrambled eggs, sausage or protein options. That was very disappointing. Still had to go out for breakfast as my husband is diabetic and the options were a diabetic nightmare. Small pillows for the beds, had to ask for a few extra. The door handle to our hotel room was not functioning properly. The key wouldn't work right because the handle needed to be tightened with an allen wrench. Told staff the first of two nights about the issue, and was told that maintenance would fix it the next day, however that didn't happen.

Disliked: Furniture needs to be updated and door deadbolt didn’t work.

Liked: The hotel lost power. We were told there would be no refund issued because it was Mother Nature. We had to leave the hotel because there was no place to store my husband's insulin or my granddaughter's milk. The temperature outside was 80+ degrees and we could not open the window due to there being no screen!
