Housed in a restored historical building the America Diamonds Hotel is located in Lisbon a 10-minute walk from Marquês de Pombal Square. Picoas Metro Station is located right opposite the hotel. Renovated in 2020 the modernly designed guest rooms of the America Diamonds Hotel offer free WiFi and flat-screen TVs. They are decorated in deep blue and burgundy and furniture with clean lines. Some rooms include a hydro-massage bathtub. A buffet breakfast is offered daily at the restaurant of the hotel. The hotel has a brand new restaurant Up to Sushi which closes on Sundays. In the evening guests may also request room service or try out the fine restaurants in the neighborhood. The America Diamonds Hotel is less than a 10-minute walk from Eduardo VII Park and the El Corte Inglés. Lisbon's main tourist sites are easily accessible by public transport. Guests can also explore the city by rental bike.

Nice breakfast and Next to...

Liked: Near Everything
Disliked: Noise flushing from the upstairs bathrooms discharging all night coming from our bathroom… and since you cannot lock or close the bathroom door, because it is a revolving door, the noise can be heard all night non stop…

Overall, it’s a decent 3-star...

Liked: The receptionists were very kind and friendly, especially the lady with the glasses. The rooms were cleaned daily and always spotless!
Disliked: One morning, a member of our group wasn’t feeling well and didn’t come down for breakfast, so we took a small amount of food for them. Unfortunately, a tall brunette waitress with glasses started watching us very closely and told us that this wasn’t allowed. She kept eyeing every bite we took, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily strict. Her behavior came across as rude and quite toxic.Also, if you’re thinking of using the jacuzzi, I wouldn’t recommend it. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a long time — when we turned it on, pieces of mold came out into the water. Very disappointing and unhygienic.

Loved the American Diamonds Hotel

Liked: Great location! Bus and Metro right outside the doorFriendly staff and a very nice breakfast.

Good

Liked: Everything was very clean and the terrace was very nice.
Disliked: We were up on the highest level. It was so hot in the room because of the many windows. It was a heat wave while we were there, but the A/C could not keep up. It is not really a family friendly place. I was traveling with my son and the large part of the bathroom is enclosed in all glass and can be looked into from the rest of the room.
