Liked: The hotel staff were amazing. Very warm and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The service from the waiting on staff was excellent. They were very well organised. The spa was very clean, a lovely place to relax. The room was spotless. The lounges downstairs were very relaxing with lovely sofas.

Liked: We were disappointed.The reviews did not reflect our experience.
Disliked: Some of the waiters were rather patronising (calling us love and squatting down to speak to us). We felt like we were in a care home.They were all polite but some needed training.My porridge was like water and my evening meal was poor (1 carrot and 1 parsnip with chicken legs).Needless to say we didn’t eat in the hotel again.Our shower cubicle had not been cleaned (shower gel caps we had dropped, still there).

Liked: The breakfast options were varied enough to meet everybody's taste.The staff were very welcoming, helpful, pleasant and efficient.
Disliked: The rooms were very hot, but it was very hot outside.The fan provided was extremely helpful.The spa facilities could be better, as the steam room wasn't really working.

Fabulous stay for my birthday

Liked: It’s a lovely hotel in a fantastic location. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and evening meal was great and the spa facilities are ideal and so relaxing. We were given an upgrade to a first floor room with balcony, plus a lovely card for my 60th birthday. Fabulous stay!
Disliked: Cannot fault it.
