Standard room with double bed...

Liked: It was walking distance to beach and pier .the boss was nice and gave us water on arrival .
Disliked: Was put on topFloor with 6 lots of stairs . No eating in rooms .Broken draws ,smell of cannabis ,pubic hair on sheets ,windows never opened ,plug socket broken. Not worth the money I paid £87 for 1 night

Liked: I booked this hotel on the basis of price and location. It met my expectations on these factors and nothing else, whatsoever.
Disliked: The owners of this hotel have made an art-form out of spending the absolute minimum (and not a penny more) on building and facilities maintenance. For example, towel rings hang off the wall: how much do they cost to replace?Wi-fi was virtually useless - forget streaming. I used my own mobile data most of the time. Reception staff were nonchalant and more interested in their conversations with family and/or friends who frequently occupy the lobby.In short, this hotel is a tragic waste of its position in one of Brighton's most iconic and lovely central squares.
