Great hotel, Great location,

Liked: Easy to find locationHelpful gentleman ( Mike)at the reception desk- helped carry our bags to our room upon arrival and helped set up Wi-Fi.He was very helpful throughout our whole stay and very polite.Was close to the event we were attending.Our room was upgraded on arrival.We were allowed to check in early.
Disliked: Pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable.Lighting in the room was very dim.It was very difficult to see to apply our make up.There was no fan in the room and none were available upon request unfortunately.There was no hairdryer however we were given one at reception when we asked.The guests in the room next door were very loud and constantly swearing.

Would have a short stay...

Liked: Fine for one night. Good shower, Tv worked well (not always the case when I stay away), great location close to seafront, Kemptown and Brighton centre. Quiet location too. Can't comment on the parking as I was on the train. If you visit remember to take photo ID!
Disliked: Mattress was on the 'soft' side, but for one night it was Ok! Other than that, no issues.

Disliked: Furniture from the 70s, curtains from the 60s, very much in need of refurbishment, no fire safety doors.
