Liked: I booked this hotel on the basis of price and location. It met my expectations on these factors and nothing else, whatsoever.
Disliked: The owners of this hotel have made an art-form out of spending the absolute minimum (and not a penny more) on building and facilities maintenance. For example, towel rings hang off the wall: how much do they cost to replace?Wi-fi was virtually useless - forget streaming. I used my own mobile data most of the time. Reception staff were nonchalant and more interested in their conversations with family and/or friends who frequently occupy the lobby.In short, this hotel is a tragic waste of its position in one of Brighton's most iconic and lovely central squares.

Disliked: Poor maintenance. Poor lighting in stair case. Deceptive marketing, no telephone in room.Windows partially working and windows very very dirty.The furniture is too old needs complete revamp.Can not compare with SA 3 star hotels. I was just even ashamed to take pictures of the room to share with my children and family back home.

Disliked: My main window in the bedroom did not shut properly, there was no view just out back where there was rubbish around and staff smoking staring at the room window which made me feel uncomfortable, family next door was very loud untill nearly midnight banging doors up and down stairs shouting outside my room. Room needed abit of a clean with muck on the floor under bed. Towel rack very rusty shower wasn't very powerful. Didn't feel very clean sleeping there.
