Great location. Could be a...

Liked: Location. Lovely bar and restaurant. Helpful reception staff.
Disliked: Rooms are very tired and jaded. Needs updating.Closing the bar early one evening despite 7 residents requiring serving and later seeing bar staff drinking in the bar.

Liked: The location is excellent and the hotel is modern
Disliked: There could have been more choice of tea, coffee, milk etc in the rooms.

Passable

Liked: Reception staff were helpful.
Disliked: Bedroom & shower room were "tired". Marks on bedroom carpet. Bathroom small and no heated towel rail. Towels were not changed everyday as we would expect. Overall the hotel needed bringing up to modern standards.

Central friendly hotel

Liked: This hotel is located in the centre of Haarlem opposite the cathedral within walking distance of the sites, the canal and the train station. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Lovely hotel in an ideal...

Liked: The bed was comfortable, and the location was superb.The staff were wonderful and allowed us to store our luggage for several hours before check-in.The personal care products provided in the bathroom were all natural and of a high quality.The capacity to make tea and coffee in our room was appreciated.
Disliked: The pillows were flat and lumpy - very uncomfortable.The rooms are quite small, the air conditioning didn't work for the duration of our stay and it was very difficult for my husband to walk past the wall-mounted TV from the window side of the bed to get to the bathroom or to leave the room as there is extremely little space between the end of the bed and the TV.No milk for the tea/coffee provided.
