I was very impressed with the experience at Public Hotel. The staff greeted us at the door and were very polite. The rooms were clean and large in size. I would definitely recommend it to friends and it was a great experience.

Location is great, room was...

Disliked: The front desk staff were really helpful and professional, but we had a different experience in the restaurant. Our breakfast the first morning wasn't great and the service was horrible. People were getting their own coffee and the server couldn't have cared less. When we entered the restaurant the second morning the person working was rude and told us that there was no chef so we couldn't have breakfast. We had to check out early that morning so we left without eating. This was frustrating because our reservation included breakfast.

Disliked: The glamour and admosphere of the former ‘pubic’ is not entirely back - but the energy of the girl bar tenders and restaurant butlers was already far better that a year ago !

weekend in Chicago

Liked: good hotel, close to several metro stations, easy access to anywhere in the city. A special plus is the old city area! quiet, calm, many shops and bars.special thanks to the receptionist Jaekwon. He always lifted my spirits with his beauty and smile :)
