A perfect family friendly hotel...

Liked: The rooms were beautiful and clean. We had 3 rooms and they put us all on the same floor next to one another. It was a perfect set up. We loved the service and attention to detail the staff provided to us. The bellman greeted us so kindly and always remembered our youngest child's name. The library is a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring, the bartender was exceptional and incorporated stories into the drinks we ordered. Even for our kids! This is the only hotel we would come back to in Amsterdam! An absolute must.
Disliked: We LOVED everything!

Liked: I had to leave because the room was so dirty
Disliked: Dirty room, tired decor

Great place to stay in...

Liked: Great location. Staff if very knowledgeable about activities and restaurants in the area and were very helpful with booking events. The breakfast is wonderful!
Disliked: Nothing.

The Ambassade is a perfect...

Liked: The breakfast was excellent. The staff were welcoming , attentive and cheerful. The food in the restaurant was top class and the service was likewise. The library bar was inviting.
Disliked: Nothing could have been better. Access to the first editions in the library bar would have been a joy.

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely bright canal-side second floor room. Easy access to the city and local shops. Very friendly and helpful staff! Would stay again for sure.

It was a most enjoyable...

Liked: Breakfast was very good. It was a little haphazard. This is a minor point. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: We had a very disappointing meal on the night of our arrival in the Brasserie Restaurant. We didn't return.

Amazing stay, would highly recommend...

Liked: The staff were so friendly, they went out of their way to be helpful. The room was amazing and the restaurant and bar were first class.

Clean, cozy rooms, nice location

Liked: The hotel staff are wonderful. Extremely efficient, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are very tight, hardly anywhere to put your luggage; however, it’s a very nice hotel and the location is very nice.
