Amanzi Hotel Ascend Hotel Collection

Enjoyed staying there and they had a great breakfast; perfect, next to the Ventura Theater where we were going; will recommend this spacious Inn.

Liked: Great location; clean and spacious rooms; friendly staff; affordable price!
Disliked: The rooms had a musty odor but nothing that an open window couldn't help.

Within walking distance to the beach and fairgrounds and all of downtown. This is a very clean hotel and one of the few that does not have a mildew smell.

Liked: The room was spacious and comfortable. The front desk had an area to buy snacks and other items for purchase. The front desk person was very pleasant.
Disliked: The room was a little bit dark. There were burned out plugs in some of the electricity sockets. The heavy, glass sliding shower door was difficult to operate.

We had a good time.

Liked: Close to Hgy 101 and downtown Ventura.
Disliked: Well, they had a nice variety of food for breakfast, and it was at no charge, the eggs were very bland, the bacon was flaccid, and the sausage was overcooked. We ended up leaning on the energy bars and the fruit. The happy hour on Thursday through Saturday was very cool.
