Not a ‘Four Star’ hotel...

Disliked: Liked · Location good for nearby restaurantsDisliked · NOT a 4 Star Hotel! Room Service’ is Deliveroo type service. Told that phones to reception ‘being repaired’, I expect they will never will be. Breakfast is all cold and only 6 tables in breakfast room, and only available before 8am when reception opens! It closes at 11pm . We were woken by a guest banging on the next door room, who had lost their key card but couldn’t get a new one because reception was closed The receptionist has to also look after the breakfast service! Breakfast pastries under cooked. Curtains hanging off when we arrived (ok this was fixed quickly) Only allowed ONE chair on our balcony, told NO when we asked for another one.! .No Netflix or similar

I would not recommend anyone...

Liked: Location was good, nothing else.
Disliked: Accommodation is misrepresented online. This is not a four star, but rather more a 2 star. Check the reviews in detail on other sites. Expectations are not met, did not want to stay long enough to get another room.

Good

Liked: Value for money. This hotel is very good at what it does, which is provide clean, comfortable rooms at a very good price (for Amsterdam) in nice, nontouristy neighborhood that isn't far from the city center. Professionally run.
Disliked: It was a bit confusing when checking in as to how one actually gets in the building. They weren't answering the buzzer so we accessed the building via the lobby of the hotel next door. Not that big a deal.
