Liked: Property is historical for me I use to work in the building when it was the ARU also it was nice to be home so to speak apart from that it was ok without not great or anything special. Location to southern cross fantastic
Disliked: It the rooms need upgrading

Liked: Great location on Bourke St near Southern Cross Station. Room very quiet even though we were on first floor thanks to double windows. Room was clean & comfortable with everything we needed. Kitchenette great.
Disliked: No negatives- room fitted purpose

Liked: This property advertised an included breakfast, I see it still does, a fruit fresh bowl and coffee does not constitute a breakfast by any means. If you advertise it, give it. There is a sign saying the kitchen is out of order, so dont offer a breakfast, it is false advertising. Otherwise the staff were ok, seems a family a friend business, the rooms ok, we did get an upgrade, and it was appreciated. The hotel is convenient to most transport and attractions. A bit of effort and they will have a great business.

Liked: Great location near public transport and shops. Tram, metro train and airport bus services are easily accessed from the hotel.
Disliked: Our room overlooked the street and the trams were a little noisy at night.

Liked: Great location with tram stop out the front. Rooms quiet as located back from street front. Rooms look to be renovated and are quite modern compared to reception area. Held our bags when we arrived before check in time and were taken to our room which was much appreciated
Disliked: Front reception area decor a bit tired and could do with a facelift
