A comfortable, pleasant stay in...

Liked: The staff are outstanding.I like the fact that this is a carbon neutral property. Fittings are of good quality. Appealing framed black and white photos of Melbourne in the corridors. Charming prints in the dining area. A book nook with comfortable chairs and a gas fireplace with electric flames.Breakfast is good. I had Eggs Benedict and enjoyed them.
Disliked: This is my favorite hotel in Melbourne however I took me some time to find it on Booking.comIt would have been good to be able to search by hotel name

Liked: Great location.
Disliked: The clear cup in the bathroom should have been tossed out long ago as there was cream colored crispy bits stuck to the inside bottom. Reception replaced it when I took the cup down there and complained. The room rate also included breakfast was a vouchier for a egg and bacon muffin and a coffee at a restaurant down the street a few doors. Certainly not what we expected.

Liked: Excellent location near all public transport and DFO at southern cross station. Staff friendly!
Disliked: It was all good - although letting two woman come into the breakfast area and hoover up all the complimentary biscuits and lollies was very frustrating! But it say more about those human locust than the motel
