Disliked: Was very unloved and the view from my room was of very disheveled buildings.My room was directly next to the ventilation shaft from the kitchen and made very loud hum up until 9.30pm and then again from 7.15am!I had to wear headphone to block the noise

Liked: I totally loved this place. It’s in the middle of nowhere and brilliantly spooky and old and highland and brilliant and cozy. Our room had a proper FIRE, massive bath and shower, great bed with proper linen, I loved the deco chairs by the fire, I cannot recommend this place enough.Food :dinner was delicious and try the home made bread. The breakfast was so good, my partner says try the scrambled eggs and the sausage

Disliked: Room rather small and lacking the finishes and facilities that you would expect for the amount paid. Room was overpriced.Evening meal was fine but a bit bland for price paid and wine very expensive and was smallest large glass of wine I’ve ever had as was like a normal glass serving.
