Very comfortable hotel in great...
Liked: The rooms were very comfortable. Good location walking distance from City Hall train stop and next to river and new river walks and park areas. Great restaurant and bakery / café very near.
Disliked: The connected bar and restaurant are not owned by the hotel and service in bar was poor. Food was sushi and not to our taste.

Would stay again
Liked: Comfortable bed + room, amazing shower. Location is perfect for exploring the city, but not too lively at night either. The staff were really friendly, have stayed a couple of times now and if I'm in Calgary again I would definitely stay here
Disliked: Bathroom door was quite sticky and didn't close properly, it wasn't too much of an issue as I was sharing with my partner but could be more of an issue for someone else

A quality modern stay in...
Liked: The reception staff were super friendly and more than helpful, even sharing tips and tricks to make the most of the local parking options (note if you're driving: free parking is not included by the hotel). Our (corner) room was a great size, very modern, great wifi connection, and had great views to the north and north west over the river and east part of downtown. There are several eatery options - a restaurant and coffee shop on the ground floor (alongside the breakout area and pool table :) ) and several other options within a stone's throw. Of course being within Calgary itself you've got the entire city on your doorstep - all the cultural venues, museums, restaurants, etc. We're not afraid of getting our walking shoes on and were quite happy walking over to Calgary Tower, Stephen Street, Core shopping center, Peace Bridge (on the west of downtown), and coming back via Bow River and Prince's Island Park. Heading out to the east, it was also a quick pleasant walk to Inglewood along the RiverWalk (path that runs the length of the Bow River throughout Calgary) and back to the hotel via Fort Calgary. In short: a great location to explore all of Calgary downtown, Bow River, the islands, the north bank, and the east side of Calgary (Inglewood, Fort Calgary) - and being very close to the highway, it's a really easy spot to find coming in from the airport.
