Mixed feelings...

Liked: Location was good
Disliked: Upon arrival, the hotel had placed us in a room that was not what we had reserved, but rather a very dark, small and ugly ADA compliant room. When I went to the office to ask fir the original room I had reserved, or even a better one for which I was willing to pay? The owner was rude and stated, " There is nothing I can do for you since you decided to get a third party involved" meaning this app. She continued to insult the app and express her dissatisfaction with it. Eventually, however, since I did not walk away, and did explain that the trip was being taken by me as a means of relieving my spirits as I was in mourning over a death, she kindly did upgrade the room at no charge to me to a room better than the one originally reserved. It was a beautiful room and I was grateful, but the whole affair was stressful and odd.

Very pleasantly surprised by Alpine...

Liked: Very clean and spacious room. Included a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, free WiFi. Location was great with just a few minutes drive to downtown Estes Park, and only a few miles from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. We had a great view from our balcony. The property was very quiet, especially for being on the way to RMNP.
Disliked: The only complaint I have is very minor- the hair dryer in the room wasn’t the best. However, that is such a small issue compared to how great everything else was during our stay.

Disliked: The lamp was broken in our room and they did not fix it even after multiple requests.

Liked: Good location close to entrance of RMNP. Rooms were clean though small. Next to good amenities.
