Another trip to my new...

Liked: Really, almost everything - I'll have to nitpick to fill on the next section - but especially the immaculately clean room. Also, each room having a little folding chair by the outside of the door, so you can enjoy the view of the distant mountains, is a nice touch. I myself enjoyed a few minutes in crips morning air that way. Had time to explore the environs this time - and found that there are all Sorts of good (and affordable!) dining options about - most in walking distance.
Disliked: While water was plenty hot, at all hours, pressure was a bit low in the shower. Also, tub faucet is one of those where you can only control the temperature, not the flow. Light switch for bathroom sink is hard to find. I've been there before (third time), and it still took me awhile. While fridge was plenty big for a room fridge, it had no freezer compartment - and yet, it kept making noises like it was making ice, all night long. Also, door slot could not accomodate a quart bottle of milk, which is unusual. I remember vending machines on the property - and there is still a sign for them! - but they are all gone now. Maybe take the sign down?Finally, WiFi was a bit glitchy. Not that it was cutting out - signal was steady and strong - but it would not let me connect to Duckduckgo, but was fine with Google. And lest you suppose this is some sort of favoritism for "Mainstream" platforms, it also would not ,et me connect with YouTube for a long time - but would connect to Bitchute!

Great motel for motorcycle travel.

Liked: Clean, simple old school drive motel perfect for a stay while traveling on the motorcycle.
Disliked: A couple of extra pillows would have been nice if there were two people sharing a queen size bed.

An ideal alternative to generic...

Liked: Simple but clean and well-equipped. A classic motel with a nice grassy area outside!
Disliked: Nothing

Very relaxing.

Liked: It is a nice, almost retro style motel located close to the historic downtown district in Abingdon, VA.
Disliked: The location looks and feels secluded despite it being just off of the interstate, and it has kind of a Route 66 feel.
