Disappointing

Liked: Room was very dated but other half of motel being demo'd so a facelift may be coming.

Very good

Liked: Beds comfortable Convenient location, short drive to shops, easy access to Trans Canada Highway.
Disliked: Nothing.

Not worth the money and...

Liked: Parking was right outside the door of the room
Disliked: Property is very run down, inside and outside. Looks like its been very poorly renovated. Even the furniture inside the room had holes. scrapes, stains. Unfriendly staff, no ice machine, they has nothing but a liquor store. Definitely will not stay again.

Liked: Very clean and big enough especially for that price
Disliked: Check in staff is a rude guy. He doesn’t know how to behave to decent customers. I don’t expect favours, he tries to make me feel like I am taking his favours.

Liked: Manager/owner was a very nice man. He looked out for us. Gave great dinner take out ,delivery ideas.

Disliked: Beware this place needs to be condemned. Don't let the photos fool you. They fooled me. It is a lipstick makeover on a hotel that should have been rebuilt from the ground up. When we opened up the door to room 27 the smell of old smoke and mildew hit you like a punch in the face. I tried to open the main window only to find it did not open and the bathroom window was too small to make a difference. The floor was rotting and looked to be a hazard to bare feet so taking your shoes off was probably a bad idea. I've stayed in a few crappy hotels before but this one takes the cake. I expressed my concern to the front desk but was met with a difference of opinions. We decided to cut our losses and move on to a different hotel.

Liked: Unfortunately, this hotel fell far below expectations. The room was in serious need of renovation and reeked of cigarette smoke, making it hard to relax. The shower was leaking badly — water sprayed from the head into the wall, and I had to use a towel just to control the mess. Overall, the stay was uncomfortable and poorly maintained. Definitely not worth the price.
