Liked: From reception check in to check out, it was exceptional. Staff were very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. the location was brilliant. The lake, wow.

Disliked: Breakfast incredibly slow… soft boiled egg was solid and shell smashed as if it had been dropped.. waited almost N hour for it

Disliked: The restaurant was poorly managed. One person was dealing with bar and a restaurant. Food was poor and quite a few items were unavailable even though it was a 7pm booking and the hotel was not busy . Breakfast was ok

Friendly staff, great location

Liked: Gary on reception was 10/10. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Great location, beautiful views and breakfast is cooked fresh.
Disliked: Rooms are a little dated and bathroom had a bit of mould.

Liked: When we wanted to use the vending machine I found it took coins only. I asked the night shift manager John for change. He was unable to do so as all tills tad been cashed up so he gave us approx £4.00 in change from his pocket. I offered him a £10.00 note in exchange which he refused to take. After choosing the chocolate we wanted we gave him his change back but he still refused the banknote so I asked him to put it in the charity box as a donation from himself.
Disliked: Would have preferred a room that did not face the back of the hotel towards the theme park but there was nothing wrong with the room itself
