Disliked: Pool was closed the first week, no resturant on premises, no free parking and valet was very expensive!

Disliked: Would have loved a more direct connection to the Riverwalk, maybe a direct access gate

Liked: Very helpful and welcoming staff. Was able to do early check-in. Stored my luggage until a room was available, which didn't take too long. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Liked: When we arrived, there was no one at the check in desk. Other guests were waiting as well. We waited five minutes with the phone ringing unanswered the whole time. I was disappointed that the snack bar provided absolutely nothing free for breakfast except coffee. Most hotels have free granola bars and fruit. At Aloft, an apple cost $2.00.
Disliked: We specifically booked this hotel for its location on the Riverwalk. Yet access to the Riverwalk from the hotel was not available. We ended up having to sneak through another hotel to get to the Riverwalk. The only alternative was to walk a block or two south and then double back north or cross a busy street just to get to the Riverwalk from the hotel. This made it difficult for my elderly husband to enjoy the Riverwalk. I also didn't like the $48/day parking fee.

Liked: The hotel was in a great location downtown. The valet only service caught me off guard but the rest of the property was awesome. It was a trendy design and had all the facilities you could ask for.
