Lovely, clean hotel close to...

Liked: Beautiful property. Clean and comfortable. Man that shower was amazing!! Loved the DryBar products in the shower and the dryer. It felt luxurious. Beds were very comfortable. We liked that there was a bar there.
Disliked: Bathroom area was weird. Didn’t like sliding door for toilet area and there wasn’t enough light in the bathroom to do make up properly.

I would recommend the aloft...

Liked: Location is excellent. Cleanliness was superb. Free coffee that was okay in quality. Great games in the lobby!! I loved walking out the door to the local restaurants and shops
Disliked: Free parking and/or electric car charging near or on site. The room was freezing upon arrival late at night. I did not care for the motif of the decor....

Liked: The location was fantastic. You're right by everything on the water, so its very walkable. The lobby looked nice and the staff were all very nice and helpful.
Disliked: The room was an odd setup. The shower is in an open area so there's no door to the bathroom area (besides the toilet only), so definitely weird for people traveling together since there's not really a lot of privacy. Also, the parking was kind of expensive but honestly the street parking was so bad over there that we just paid to park. All of the street parking was either a max 2 hour parking or you could park there from 7pm-9am, so if you street park at night then you have to move your car by 9am. So honestly, paying the $40 a day (though expensive) was about the same price as everything else in the area and easier than dealing with street parking.

Liked: Staff was friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable, location was great
Disliked: Decor was odd, furniture , floors, rugs looked low end, a bit shoddy. The view from room was over a roof and it had an area of dirty,torn up, cement right outside the window. Breakfast was included but menu was limited and unappealing, like a better version of fast food. Went out for breakfast. The experience was more like a roadside motel rather than a hotel that I paid close to $400.00/ night.
