Aloft Munich

Perfect hotel option for staying...

Liked: Nice and comfortable bed and bathroom.
Disliked: Just a little messy outside with street maintenance, but understandable.

Terrible unacceptable hotel (you called)...

Disliked: I didn't like Everything!!! From the minute you walked into this place was just like a budget hotel. 300+ Euro per night with out breakfast and here what you will get : bad attitude front desk staffs, unable to reach a single called from the room no matter how hard you tried, ( I tried almost 20 times and 3 days ), no amenities unless you asked for and of course you have to walk down to get it by yourself, dirty laundry room, dirty carpet in the room, dirty bathrobe, empty refrigerator and they called mini bar, no receptionist at front desk at all time because they short of staff (assistant front manager told me) This property is managed under Marriott voyage. No joking! With all that, I explained to the assistant front office manager and wanted to have early check out. All she said was sorry and she would inform manager for further action. That was it, nothing had been brought up during my stay. This was the worst place I've ever been in my travelling trips.

If you want a convenient,...

Liked: The staff were all very good about check-in and disclosure about services and charges. The room was sizable and comfortable, with plenty of outlets for charging electronics and a very comfortable bath/shower. The location is ideal, as we arrived by public transport and found ourselves at the heart of Munich train transport, city attractions and eateries.
Disliked: There was very little that could have been improved. Maybe improve the in-room coffee setup, but just steps away, North of the Munich Hbf there are numerous cafes to choose from for a breakfast.

Munich is a great place...

Liked: Location was great. Locations was quite. They held our suitcase before checking in and after we checked out.
Disliked: Shower was slippery and wet. Did not like the openness of the shower.

Superb

Modern room in a great...

Liked: Very clean and spacious room with modern features. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Lastly, the location was ideal, especially if you traveling by train in/out of Munich.
Disliked: None.

Would not recommend!

Liked: Beds were comfortable and big. The outdoor courtyard was lovely to sit outside on a warm summers morning.
Disliked: Entrance was poor and uninviting. There was no running hot water in the bedroom so we had to have freezing cold showers and when we brought this to the front of house attention they said they knew and would take note. No offer to apologise or reimburse in any way. Breakfast was very poor and after complaining to the staff they brought some extra food but not worth what we paid for the breakfast. No coffee machine in the room.
