A very nice place to stay with a great location.

Liked: Location from the Guthrie.
Disliked: Music in the lobby was on the loud side. Old ears don't handle that well.

Liked: Convenient and friendly shuttle service. Nice rooms with comfortable beds and pillows.

Stayed here after attending a show at The Varsity Theater with my two 20-something daughters. We all loved the hotel. Modern, clean, comfortable. There was a negative review about having no tub - only a shower. Who takes a bath in a hotel anyway? I found it added more room to the bathroom. It was fine for what we needed. Another reviewer commented on no restaurants within walking distance. We saw many. In fact, we walked to dinner and it was fine (in winter). Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Would stay again. Very nice location for overnight after attending the Guthrie. I could not get the advertised $99 rate and when I checked in the attendant told me they had these $99 rates for people staying over at the Guthrie if they checked in online, etc. So something in the system isn't working. Next time I will call.

Liked: Great location next to the US Bank Stadium as I was attending a game at the stadium
Disliked: My rate was including breakfast, and the breakfast options could be better, just a few sandwiches and wraps to choose from.

Liked: The staff is friendly and personable. It isn't their fault, but management needs to train them better on 3rd party and the computer system. We would like to stay there again, but I won't be using a 3rd party system again, and will only book there directly.
Disliked: Their computer glitched, causing a double charge between their system and booking.com. I am 2 days in and counting, in trying to reach the General Manager to fix this overcharge (no other staff there is authorized to do so).

Nothing good to say about...

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: I got double booked, Aloft would not provide a refund, I list $500. I was in Minneapolis because I had an appointment at the VA. I can't afford that kind of loss. Expedia tried to get it back, Aloft wouldn't budge.

Great Amenities for Kids

Liked: I recently stayed at the Aloft hotel in Minneapolis and was impressed by the number of great amenities for both kids and adults. While the price is a bit high compared to Chicago, the hotel is conveniently located just a 15 minute walk from the subway, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Aloft hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Minneapolis.
Disliked: The receptionist was not happy.
