Great place and close to...

Liked: It's a great place. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Relatively quiet location. Close to the subway, and bonus it's only a block away from Joe's, the best pizza in all of Manhattan
Disliked: They have a COVID-closed cocktail bar. It would be nice if they could reopen it and hire bar staff! While this was one of the better prices for the area, it is painfully pricey at over $250/night..But suppose it's partly a Manhattan thing now, rather than just Aloft.

New York stay

Liked: Great location, good facilities, helpful staff.
Disliked: For the security deposit, they always require a physical credit/debit card, although it was not necessary to lock in the deposit itself. This resulted in locking in way more than the usual security deposit amount.

Bad

Easter break in NY

Liked: Nice and clean, with modern furniture. Great position to visit Manhattan and Brooklyn

I would stay here again....
