It was great

Nice place to stay even...

Liked: Didn’t have breakfast. The room was clean and the location was perfect, close to restaurants and shopping.
Disliked: I had two complaints. The first would be when three people are staying in the room it’s expected to the three sets of towels and three coffee cups. I called down to the front deck to get more towels and coffee cups but no one answered, so I went down and couldn’t find anyone to ask for help in getting them. Even when we were checking out no one was there to check out with. I ended up leaving my key cards on the reception desk.

Disliked: Dirty. Smelled bad when walking in. Aloft used to have a signature smell when walking in. I’m not sure if it’s gone now because Marriott bought them or if it was just the Lubbock location. Second floor by elevator smelled horribly of pee. My bathroom door fell off of its rails and onto me. Luckily I caught it, but if it were a child, that would have been a lawsuit. A/C made a terrible buzzing noise that made it hard to sleep.

Disliked: The water pressure at sink was low and the lights were weird. I think it was a handicap room so we were kind of confused wh lots worked like they did
