A great, economy hotel! Spotlessly clean, cool, and what I would call "bare bones" comfort. No frills, but incredibly comfortable. I would go back.

Good value, great location
Liked: Nice n new looking, clean, well kept, friendly staff, good location near stores, restaurants, many within short walking distance.
Disliked: The breakfast is way too limited. Everything other than the free toast and limited pastries is something in a bowl with a poached egg on it. Poached eggs? Really?I?ve got one word for the hotel... omelets. You can make them easily and quickly, you can use regular eggs or the much healthier egg whites, which you can get in a pour container. A few different ingredients to choose from, and you?ve got variety, you?ve got traditional, you?ve got healthier options, you?ve got a cook who doesn?t stand around most of the time getting paid to do nothing because nobody wants what you offer for breakfast. Best option is to walk or drive the few blocks to Whole Foods to partake of their breakfast buffet. There are some full service breakfast restaurants within a mile or so drive. Don?t plan on eating anything at the hotel unless you just want something minimal.

I wasn?t impressed
Liked: It was convenient to our location for the night.
Disliked: I didn?t care for the features of the property. The elevator wasn?t easy for me, especially since I?m not tech savvy. They didn?t have a microwave in the room. No great channels on the TV. The hallways were too narrow and I didn?t really care for it.

Disliked: close to everywhere (Apple headquarter, valley fair mall, restaurants.)

Based on this experience I'm...
Liked: Location. Comfortable bed and bath
Disliked: The trendiness was overkill. I hated the dark blue lounge lighting and loud hip hop/dance music in the elevator. Just too jarring.

Liked: good location, got a great deal. Wouldn't pay full asking price for the hotel.
Disliked: It's the Marriott '70s brand. Rooms are smaller, reminds you of an old dorm, old looking decor. Not my favorite place, but worth it for the discount for the location.
