This hotel was not traditional in any way. The room was very small, but every inch was utilized. No luxury, which is ok for us. We usually stay in Hilton properties, so that's our standard. The shower was nice, but one wall, one that was shared by the main area, was semi- frosted glass. For us, a married couple, it was fine. I'd be embarrassed though if I was sharing a room with a friend. Overall, we loved that we could walk to the coliseum and restaurants. It suited our needs.

Disliked: The first room we were provided did not have air conditioning. Once we were moved to second room the faucet was broke in shower and we did not have hot water. At this time we were running late for the event which is why we traveled to Charleston to start with. Upon returning late that night we noticed cockroaches crawling around the bathroom/kitchenette area. I have requested customer service resolve this twice now with no response.
