Aloft Brooklyn

Loved the decor - it was upbeat as soon as you walk in the door! Greeted by outgoing staff, great music and funky designed spaces. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The mattress and sheets were so soft! Loved that the room had an AC control that actually let us make it as cool as we wished and black out shades so we could sleep in. Bliss spa prodcuts provided in the room was such an added bonus. We will definitely be staying at Aloft again in our future travels!

Very interesting decor; really comfortable king sized mattress; lobby/bar area awesome; great pod chairs!

Disliked: The check out person did try to scam us. He pretended we did not pay the full invoice whilst we did and asked for $241 in cash. We refused and called our Father who paid by card. This happened today August 21 at 11:21 am.The person in charge did explain in a very confusing way the reason why we had to pay an extra charge. two or three hours later they send me an updated invoice suddenly crediting us back from the $241 without any comment or apology from their part. Be on the alert with this kind of reckless behavior, and specially when asking cash. It looks like a scam

Disliked: No hot water when I arrived, and was double charged, and still haven't received my money back.

Disliked: The fridge in my room did not work. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. The air conditioner was on a timer and the temperature of the room was fluctuating too much. Felt uncomfortable while sleeping

Disliked: For the price, there was no iron in the room. The price to park each time you needed to have your car was 55 to 75 dollars. The air conditioner was so loud that it sounded like someone was coming through the building. The telephone didn't work in the room to even call for valet parking to bring the car.
